Spread the Fire!

Have you ever been in love? Have you ever felt like there was a flame in your heart? Or like you were *on fire*?

Our patron saint is St. Jude. In art and sculpture, St. Jude is often depicted with a flame above his head. His fire was his love for God.

Above an entrance to our new church, our Pastor, Father Henehan, chose this scripture verse to welcome all who enter: "Contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all handed down to the saints" (Jude 1:3). Elsewhere in that same Letter, St. Jude speaks to each of us: "You, beloved, pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God."

This video, SPREAD THE FIRE, is tribute to those who have been in love. It takes the epic mural in our church, full of characters on fire with love of God -- and it brings them to life.

With love in our hearts, we invite you to visit St. Jude's. This faith was handed down to us. We would be honored to hand it to you. Perhaps you, too, will be consumed with the fire that burns in the hearts of the saints in our lives.
